Are you a Vocational Rehab professional with a passion for digital storytelling? The VRA is looking for a creative, industry-savvy volunteer to help us bridge the gap between our mission and our community. We need a peer who understands the industry and can translate that expertise into engaging social content.

We are a Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) charity with a broad and growing membership base. Our mission is to:

Key Responsibilities:

· Support the creation, editing, and scheduling of digital content (e.g. social media posts, newsletters, website updates)

· Help develop media campaigns that highlight the impact and value of vocational rehabilitation

· Help source and repurpose content from events, publications, and partners (e.g. speaker quotes, highlights, recordings)

· Assist in monitoring engagement, reach, and feedback to inform continuous improvement of our communications

What We’re Looking for in a Volunteer (Essential)

· A friendly, proactive attitude with good communication skills

· Ability to manage tasks reliably and meet agreed deadlines

· Basic digital/media skills (e.g. social media platforms, email, simple editing tools)

Desirable Skills and Experience (Helpful but Not Required):

· Social Media Literacy: Experience with social media management, digital communications, or marketing

· Creative Voice: You can take complex vocational concepts and make them accessible, professional, and engaging.

· Ability to use tools such as Canva, Mailchimp, Eventbrite, and/or scheduling platforms

· Knowledge of simple video or audio editing

Why Volunteer with the VRA?

· Expand your network: Work closely with the VRA board and industry leaders.

· Build your portfolio: Showcase your ability to manage a professional brand and drive measurable growth.

· Professional impact: Help shape the future of our association by ensuring our voice is heard across the industry.
