Large Language Models such as ChatGPT have quickly become everyday tools, but many occupational health professionals are unsure how to use them effectively. Prompt engineering, the craft of designing clear and structured prompts, is key to getting accurate, safe and efficient outputs.
In this webinar, we will introduce the essentials of prompt engineering for those with little or no technical background. We will explore how the wording of a question changes the quality of the response, and demonstrate practical techniques to improve reliability and reduce wasted effort.
Through live examples, we will show how prompts can be tailored to occupational health contexts, such as creating accessible patient information, summarising complex research papers, or drafting clear reports. By the end of the session, participants will have a practical set of strategies they can use immediately in their own work.
