VRNet International

Overview

The Vocational Rehabilitation Network International (VRNet Int)  provides a common space where VR professionals can share and advance their knowledge, research, and practice base with each other.

VRNet Int is committed to a core vision of supporting, assisting and advocating for individuals at risk of or experiencing disabling conditions in the process of obtaining, staying at, or returning to work. We support each other, advance knowledge of and respect for our profession, and hope to positively impact diverse hiring and healthy workplace practices.

Vocational Rehabilitation is a multidisciplinary intervention offered to those with physical, psychological and/or social difficulties enabling a return to work or preventing loss of work.

VRNet Int was inaugurated  in 2021 and is managed by a group of founder members who represent VR associations in Australia, Canada, USA, UK, and Austria. This group of founders are currently in the process of incorporating.

VR practitioners, researchers and trainers are invited to get involved by joining the VRNet International LinkedIn group https://www.linkedin.com/groups/3971172/ . This group currently has just under 4,000 members from all over the world.
