Join us for one of the most important moments in the VRA calendar — our Annual General Meeting. This is your chance to connect with peers, hear key updates from across the profession, and play an active role in shaping the future of vocational rehabilitation in the UK.
The AGM is more than a formality. It’s a space for collaboration, transparency, and shared purpose. Whether you’ve been with us for years or you’re newly joined, your voice strengthens our community and our collective impact.
What to Expect During the AGM (30 minutes)
We’ll be sharing:
• Progress and achievements from the past 12 months
• Plans and priorities for 2026–27
• Board elections and confirmations
• Member reflections, questions, and contributions
Your participation helps ensure the VRA continues to champion high‑quality, evidence‑based vocational rehabilitation across the UK.
📅 Date: 16th April
💻 Format: Online (joining link to follow)
👥 Who can attend: Everyone
Immediately after the AGM, we’re delighted to welcome Nicci Lou, founder of Amplify to Thrive and a leading voice in neurodiversity, communication differences, and inclusive practice.
Nicci’s session — Beyond Neurodiversity Awareness — offers a practical, relatable introduction to neurodiversity that goes far deeper than labels. You’ll explore how people think and communicate differently, why misunderstandings happen, and how small, intentional adjustments can transform everyday interactions.
This interactive session will help you:
• Understand communication differences in real‑life contexts
• Recognise masking and its impact
• Support clients and colleagues more effectively
• Apply simple, meaningful adjustments in your work
• Identify when coaching or further training may be beneficial
You’ll leave with tools you can use immediately — and a richer understanding of how to create environments where people can truly thrive.
