Philosophy of AI

Location:

iOH

In this webinar we will be exploring a couple of key strands in the philosophy of Artificial Intelligence: ethics (looking at authenticity, trust, and consent), and epistemology (focusing on what it is to be a knower, and to give authority to sources of knowledge).

AI can be a wonderful tool, but it is crucial to also explore the philosophical questions and issues that using it can raise, in order to inform best practice.

Here, we will explore some of the philosophical considerations to be aware of when using AI, both individually as a source of information, and when interacting with other people.
