Understanding ADHD

with Claire Twomey, Professional Advanced ADHD Coach & Trainer

Join Claire Twomey, multi‑award‑winning ADHD Coach, International Speaker and Founder of ADHD Connections, for a powerful and myth‑busting session designed to deepen understanding of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and promote truly neuroaffirming practice.

In this engaging presentation, Claire explores what ADHD really is, beyond stereotypes, and how it influences executive functioning, emotional regulation, attention, motivation and everyday life. Drawing on current research, professional expertise and lived experience, she highlights the diversity of ADHD profiles, the impact of late diagnosis, and the strengths often overlooked in traditional narratives.

Attendees will leave with:

  • A clearer, research‑informed understanding of ADHD
  • Increased confidence in supporting individuals across personal and professional settings
  • Practical, neuroaffirming strategies to create more inclusive environments
  • Greater empathy and awareness to challenge stigma and outdated assumptions

Perfect for professionals, educators, managers, and anyone seeking to better understand and support people with ADHD.
